Yi Peng Lantern Festival

Thailand's Yi Peng lantern festival is one event that should be on everyone's bucket list (not just Rapunzel's). If you are interested, it occurs every year in November at the Chiang Mai's Sansai District; it is supposedly the best place to be.

The point of the festival is for the owners to get rid of their sins and bad luck through the use of the lanterns; then hopefully good fortunes will return to them.
