The work of Ian Francis

Born in 1979 in Bristol, England, where he continues to create his work, Ian Francis works with acrylics, oil, pen, charcoal, and ink on canvas.  Francis finds his inspiration from film, television and the internet.  He takes elements he likes, composites them in Photoshop as a concept, then creates his work.  Marrying the styles of abstract paint strokes with detailed drawing methods creates a beautiful aesthetic that can only be his.
